History of Pacific Shore Stones
2000
Donald, Marco and Vinny have their first experience with the natural stone industry in Los Angeles. They come to understand the challenges of purchasing and importing high-quality stone into the U.S., and were inspired to improve the process by working closely with quarries in Brazil. Eager to try their hand in the industry, they begin brokering containers to distributors in the U.S.
2002
Pleased with their success at importing and delivering quality containers, they open the Los Angeles location to serve fabricators and consumers directly.
2006
The partners decide that Austin and the Central Texas markets offered great opportunities to bring Pacific Shore Stones' products and services to Texas. They launched their distribution center there as the largest indoor facility in Austin.
2007
April: to better control quality of the slabs, the team opens a processing facility in Brazil in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, the virtual center of the granite world in Brazil. The facility enables the team to closely oversee the process of slicing the massive 10ft by 10ft by 10ft blocks into slabs and getting them polished and coated with resin for consumers in the U.S. August: following the sucess of the Austin location, they open a warehouse in San Antonio, TX to better serve that local market. September: Continuing their drive to provide excellent customer service to a widening customer base, the team opens a distribution center in Bakersfield, CA.
2008
The Pacshore team opens a distribution center in Oklahoma City - the largest in the area with 25,000 of indoor warehouse in a 3 acre property.
2009
Vinny, Marco, and Donald decide to expand our operations to Tulsa, OK. After a successful opening in Oklahoma City, partners felt strong about the Tulsa market and opened the company's largest warehouse to date, a 30,000-square foot warehouse.
2010
Having established itself as the market leader in Austin, Pacific Shore Stones expands its operation in Austin, increasing the warehouse to 33,000 square feet.
Building on the company's successful expansion into the state of Oklahoma, Pacific Shore Stones decide to branch eastward, opening a brand new 30,000 square foot warehouse in Little Rock, Arkansas.
